Surrounded by China, India, and Thailand, Burma has become a crossroads for many types of cooking styles, ingredients and food ideology. Burmese cuisine encapsulates all the great parts of cuisines from the countries it borders, takes it all and turns it into new flavors wonderful; far-reaching yet balanced. In this class, we are going to keep everything light and let the flavors speak for themselves! Gather will provide the recipes, shopping list, prep and equipment list 7 days prior to your class. Food will be cooked in your own kitchen with your own equipment. Each recipe serves 4.
