African Curry #5 with Dave – Ghana, Influence: Chili Pepper
“Curry” dishes are not just limited to India. In this hugely flavorful class, we are going to talk about the spice route and how that led to the European colonization of some African/Indian countries and how spices from Indonesia and the sub-continent of India as well as “Curry” dishes traveled from their homelands and ended up making their ways into the culture of other countries cuisines! Each of these curries are unique unto themselves and we will talk about how these dishes took on their variations due to what was indigenous in other countries. There will be a NEW African Curry class monthly throughout 2021. This is an online, live & interactive cooking class. Gather will provide the recipes, shopping list, prep and equipment list 7 days prior to your class. Food will be cooked in your own kitchen with your own equipment. Each recipe serves 4.
