National Eat What You Want Day! with Dave
And if you know me, you know I want a Salisbury Steak TV Dinner. It is my guilty pleasure, and I do it once a year… because it takes a whole year to recover from the amount of salt in one of those things! In this super fun class, we are all going to take a closer look at the ingredients and nutritional label of my favorite TV dinner, then we are going to recreate it using fresh ingredients and then compare the nutritional facts of our homemade “TV Dinner” vs. the manufactured store bought one. It will be rather eye opening. Gather will provide the recipes, shopping list, prep and equipment list 7 days prior to your class. Food will be cooked in your own kitchen with your own equipment. Each recipe serves 4.

- Homemade Salisbury Steak with Mushroom Gravy, Vegetable, Starch, and Dessert.
(I shall hold free of naming the vegetable, starch, and dessert for fear of retaliation from the big box company, but we all know which one I’m talking about :)
