Seas the Day: Caribbean Lunch with Dave - $50 per person
The Caribbean is home to some of the most wonderful flavors on the planet. Due to its history of invasion, the Caribbean has become a melting pot of wonderful flavors, cooking techniques, and spices. In this class, we are going to talk about some of these staple recipes and their history and then go and cook them! This is a hands-on class.
On the menu:
- Potaje de Lentejas – Highly seasoned Cuban potato and lentil stew
- Brown Stew Chicken – Jamaican dish of marinated and stewed chicken thighs with onions and peppers
- Picadillo – Cuban dish of ground beef, potatoes, spices, olives, and raisins
- Arroz con Leche – Puerto Rican Rice Pudding
